B. Roland
McElroy came to Washington DC in 1972 with newly elected United States
Senator from Georgia, Sam Nunn. Roland served Sen. Nunn for 15 years,
first as press
secretary and later as Chief of Staff. His Capitol Hill tenure also included
a two-year stint as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Chuck Robb of Virginia.
In the private
sector, he has held leadership positions at the Outdoor Advertising
Association and the American Forest &
Paper Association.
In early
1996, he established McElroy & Associates, offering a broad range
of corporate public relations services.
