The Great Mizzariddle is a fun-to-read story using word-play.

When a lost prospector stumbles upon Santa’s Headquarters at the North Pole, the elves introduce him to a new language.  They have developed a shorthand way of speaking that enables them to save time in Santa’s frantic world of toy making.  “Hmmmm….that sounds absurd,” you might say, “even ridiculous.  And an elf would respond, “No, that sounds absurdiculous.”  Read this story to a child and both of you will have a smaffin’ good time.
